Thanks for KW's recommendation, Me and ZP explored this Japanese style cafe 2 weeks ago, and we really love this place!
Haikara style cafe is owned by a Japanese couple. This place attract lots of Japanese expats, the first time we been there for lunch, almost quarter of the place is occupied by Japanese.
They have very nice coffee which using syphoon for brewing. very cool Japanese barista who seldom smile, husband who is tall and wife who is skinny and cool. The interior is very warm decorated with simple
wooded tables and chairs, some Japanese decorations and they play nice cosy music.
Most of their food is in cafe style, so you will not find sashimi sushi or soba there. What you can find is choices of sandwiches, sphagetti, and donburi.
From my experience of having good Japanese food at Singapore, this is a place which i strongly recommended if you are looking for good coffee, good ambience and quality food. I will go back again for sure ^_^

咖啡。
曾几何时我开始对它有兴趣？对它不离不弃？对它又爱又恨？
一天的生活里没有了它就会觉得浑身不自在？
那应该是当我踏入社会工作的时候吧。6年前？
刚开始是受同事们的影响，下午茶时间都会想来杯热腾腾的咖啡舒压，当时我对咖啡的认识都是从本地咖啡店所买，
新币一块钱= 咖啡+奶精，或是三合一咖啡。

过后，公司附近开了家专卖咖啡豆的小店，小店主人对咖啡有一定的认识及喜爱，所以自己就渐渐对咖啡的要求转为意式咖啡 - 不加奶精不加糖的钟爱，价钱也从新币一块提升到一杯三块半，甚至于接近二十块的价位。

爱咖啡，除了爱它带给我味蕾的刺感之外，其实也是好让我看书时有个栖身的地方。
爱上咖啡后，发现喝咖啡原来也是个潮流，人人手中握着一杯咖啡，似乎是一种地位的象征（笑）。

以前大家对咖啡的要求好像都满足在咖啡连锁店。过后，精致的小店，专心及对咖啡充满热诚的爱咖之人也越受欢迎。
大家对咖啡的要求不再只是表面，而是更深层的，他们会探索它的origin, 它的酸味，它的苦味，它的aroma, body 以及其他其他。

而最近斌开始研究咖啡，所以自己也开始努力探讨咖啡的真善美。也开始爱上人类对它的执著，以及相信咖啡也是一种艺术~

Went back to Singapore on 21st May 2011 to participate Saturday in Design, first time held at Singapore. Previously was at Sydney/ Melbourne.
This SiD Singapore is only for ONE day, and i thought it was TWO days like what Sydney did. Participants brands are not that huge and fantastic like what I saw at SiD Sydney 2 years ago. It was kind of disappointed actually :(
But, I managed to meet up with my long time no see friends since I left Singapore almost 10 months ago! It was a good catch-up with them!
Overall, Singapore is still the same, with more and more new development building up....

Found this "i love taimei" at Bugis Village. The name of this shop attracted us, the food & drink here are not bad and price reasonable :_)

It was a very shocked news about what happen to Japan last week. Japan is such a beautiful country, but now it ruined by earthquake & tsunami. I hope Japan can stay tough and slowly recover back to the beautiful country.

I send an email to my host family at Hokkaido to check about their status, thanks god they are all fine and not really affected by the disaster.

Have been eye-ing for this noodle house at Bangsar Village few months back. I'm attracted by the design of interior. So finally i'm here last Sunday. with 2 of my buddies for dream business talk :)

Overall, food in Canoodling is not that fantastic, but is not expensive. All noodle cost at RM 9.90. Anyway, i love the place and the idea of crayon with mahjong paper!

Went to Marmalade at Bangsar Village. The food is not that fantastic and quite costly.

it has been long time i stop blogging since end of last year..
happy new year 2011 and happy rabbit year to all of you! :)

i lost my love before chinese new year, i'm unhappy because i thought, i really thought i found my right one, and i thought he is the best thing i found after i back to malaysia. it was a short but good relationship for me, unfortunately it end up without any clues.

everything is alright at my side now, it was a bonus to have a sweet relationship that last for 2 months after i come back here. everything will back to the start and i will work hard, sell more for my current company which i feel i'm lucky enough to have this offer back here.

to all friends who love me, i'm happy to have you all besides me when i'm in need.. i love you all too :)

1. I made a great decision to leave Singapore, and back to Malaysia.
2. I had a big conflicts with my lovely god brother, and now we don't even talk and contact at all.
3. I visited Japan, Hokkaido finally. That is my biggest & longest travel accomplishment til today.
4. I picked back my driving skill and now I can drive freely.
5. I found my love and now I'm really happy.

Innovative food!

As mentioned in my earlier post, i went "back" to Singapore 2 weeks ago, to attend a 2 days 2 nights training from bulthaup. on the last day of training, there is a cocktail organized for us, and also open to guests. bulthaup invited chefs from one of the restaurant located at Dempsey Hill - Tippling Club. Oh well, their food is very innovative! fine dining style but you can feel the difference! well, pictures speak a thousand words.. please check out below!

Tomorrow i'm going "back" to Singapore with my new colleagues, for 2 days training. This will be a very tight trip, have to go to airport tomorrow after work, and start our training from Thursday early morning til evening, and same for Friday. On Friday night, we will have to pack our stuff and back to KL again.

"BACK" to Singapore, i have some very weird feeling about this trip. Not sure what is that feeling, and couldn't describe. That is a country where i spend my 8 years of "golden years" there, from 18 years old til 26 years old. Oh gosh, it has been so many years. Singapore - a place that have so much memories. I started to stay alone there, looking for room to rent, living with strangers, i found my boy friends (ex) there, i found my best friend there, i had all my coffee, my fine dining there, i started to love Japan from there, i started my first sip of alcohol there, my love to photography, lomography, by earning SGD, i managed to travel around the world..and... many many...

I think, i will not hate there... i will surely visit there again, to pick back my memories :)
should i say, "thank you, Singapore"?

Eames, the designer

I have been working at this company for almost 2 months. Everyday, I’m happy to see all the Eames & Nelson classic furniture just right in front of me. I believe not everyone know who are them, especially for those people who is not design/ art related. Anyway, Charles (1907–1978) and Ray (1912–1988) Eames they were American designer, for Herman Miller. Herman Miller produced furniture, chairs and office furniture.

What I impressed by them are, they have stories for every single piece of their design, and the creative usage of materials, eg. Plastic, wire and plywood.

Below pieces are masterpiece that featured in our showroom, and I would like to just share with you guys briefly about the design and product story J

Eames Molded Plastic Armchair

This chair come in 4 different base, I personally love this one in wire base, because the craftmanship is just so awesome!

Design Story:

In the 1940s, Charles and Ray Eames were looking forward while other American designers were content to stay put. New materials, new techniques, new shapes—these were what interested the Eameses.

The designers were focused on the new plastics because this exciting material held the promise of being able to do more with less. They realized that plastic could be molded into organic shapes that would conform to the shape of the body.

The Eameses adapted molding techniques developed during World War II to produce the shells. They also perfected another technique with which they had been experimenting—creating a bent, welded wire base.

The result was the process that allowed the manufacture of the first mass-produced one-piece plastic chairs. No upholstery, no covering. Charles and Ray Eames, true to their design philosophy, wanted the actual materials of the chair to take center stage. And they still do, in keeping with the designers' original intent.

Design Story:

In the early 1940s, when Charles Eames was working on MGM set designs, he and his wife, Ray, were experimenting with wood-molding techniques that would have profound effects on the design world. Their discoveries led to a commission from the US Navy to develop plywood splints, stretchers, and glider shells, molded under heat and pressure, that were used successfully in World War II.
When the war was over, Charles and Ray applied the technology they had created to making affordable, high-quality chairs that could be mass-produced using dimensionally shaped surfaces instead of cushioned upholstery. When they found that plywood did not withstand the stresses that occurred where the chair seat and back met, they abandoned their original single-shell idea in favor of a chair that had separate molded-plywood panels for the back and seat. The process eliminated the extraneous wood needed to connect the seat with the back, which reduced the weight and visual profile of the chair and established a basis for modern furniture design. Sculpting a seat and back to fit the contours of the human body, they designed a truly comfortable chair that's suitable for businesses and homes.

Eames Wire Chairs

What a brave and innovative material to use!

Design Story:
In the Eames design studio, new materials were the name of the game.
That same molded plywood, and then molded plastic, ended up as materials in innovative chairs produced in the 1940s. Never content to repeat themselves, in the early 1950s, the Eameses and their design staff turned to bent and welded wire. Inspired by trays, dress forms, and baskets, the designers developed a variety of pieces, including Eames wire chairs.
To achieve the desired shape and strength, while keeping costs low (because affordability was a major criterion of Eames designs), they made the rim of the chair a lighter-gauge wire and doubled it. This advance won them the first American mechanical patent for design. They didn't use cross-weaving on the outer edges, which made the chair lighter in weight and less expensive to produce.
The original chair padding was fabric, not leather, and the first attempts at making it hit a snag: The padding slid around too much on the wire network. To solve the problem, the Eameses took a quintessentially Eames approach; working with a design school, they developed equipment and methods to make the padding they wanted, moved the equipment into their studio, and produced the padding on the spot.

June, 26th, 2010. Welcome to Tokyo!!

My first day at Tokyo - Reached Haneda airport around 12 noon, and by taking train, I reached hostel safety, and I met up with Lee Ming - my secondary school mate who study at Hiroshima - she took 14 hours of bus all the way from Hiroshima to Tokyo! :)

At this half day at Tokyo, we went Shibuya - Jyugaoka - Shibuya and back to Asakusa.

Tawaraguchi - the nearest JR train from my hostel

Shibuya - many many many people.. all of them are so pretty and good looking!

Jyugaoka - one of the place that i like the most at Tokyo, because over there is lesser people

Before I left my host family to Tokyo...
We took photos.. and Otousan brought me and Yatsu san to Kogen Onsen..

This is our guest, his transport to travel around Hokkaido is: BICYCLE! I always impressed by all this backpackers who can be very brave, and adventurous! I wish I can be one them one day! :)

Yakiniku session for our lunch, I tried lamb, but that is not my favourite :P

This is Kogen Onsen, which located on a hill, about 1200m from floor. From here, you can see peak of mountain clearly. And, I guess this will be very amazing experience if you have the onsen during winter!

Sounkyo Youth Hostel - the place where I stay & work for 3 weeks. Very nice environment, I love my host, and all the guest..

Hokkaido has lots of deer and bear. You can see deer easily, and my host always told me there are plenty of deer outside our hostel. However, I never have the chance to see any of them in that 3 weeks, until the last day I stay there! Both of them were eating plants outside our hostel.

I love all the meals that prepared by Okaasan... which suit my taste very much!

And, she is my okaasan. very expert in cooking and she spend almost 3/4 of her day in kitchen!

北海道大雪山

6月22日2010年

在北海道云层峡住了将近2星期，几乎每一天都看到这座遥不可及的‘大雪山’。今天，终于都有机会登上黑岳七合目了！
大清早，从sounkyo youth hostel步行不到10分钟，就能抵达能助你攀上黑岳的ropeway 缆车。车费是1850yen，上到50%的黑岳只需15分钟车程。过后，你需要步行一小段山路，去乘搭另一部吊车，车费是600yen。大概20分钟的车程，你就能够到达黑岳七合目了。

北海道大雪山是由10座山连接起来，所以也有人称它为十连峰。而著名的黑岳大概有1950米的高度。
虽然，比起我国的kota kinabalu是还差很多，但是它们常年积雪这美景，实在是太震撼了吧。
很多登山者都为了它们慕名而来，你能够从kurodake (黑岳)的山路，依着山峰，走到另一座山的山峰。
而这次，由于本身没有准备，再加上雪山的路都很滑，所以就没有这个机会攀山越岭了。希望下一次我的光临，能够征服它们！

富良野的花及天空

欢迎来到位于接近富良野的FARM TOMITA。只需要乘搭北海道的JR电车，就可以到达这个每个夏天都特别设立的临时车站 - LAVENDAR STATION，只需由车站沿路步行大概8分钟，就可以到达这个充满一片又一片的花海啦！

这里盛产薰衣草，每一年的7月至9月，就会见到，闻到填满陆地的薰衣草。但是，我的时间没有撞正那个季节，所以就没有机会见到啦！不过，见到其他的花，依然让我大快人心！

大自然的奥妙，实在是太令人匪夷所思！

我好喜欢我在那边所拍的照片，那边阳光普照，天空特别美，陆地生物的颜色也格外鲜艳。就算你没有一身好绝技，我相信也能拍到一张又一张的绝‘照’！

2010年6月29日下午，终于都亲眼见到闻名世界的东京铁塔!
只身雄伟的竖立在繁华的都市里，不晓得登上铁塔的都市人，在高处眺望那个城市时，会抱着怎样的心情？

我就不知道啦，我没有买票登上铁塔（票价：800yen），因为我当日的旅途已经接近尾声，而相映的，我的盘川也用得七七八八，唯有在外面观看，但是我已经觉得大快人心了。再加上在场内，适逢michael jackson的一周年死祭，馆内有个展览天王的珍藏。所以，当日都算无比热闹。

不经不觉，原来已经回来大马有2个星期的时间。直至到6月30日，在日本24日的风流快活，到流连忘返，终于都愿意踏上沉重的脚步归家。

其实归家并不沉重，反而我很盼望这段新的挑战及旅程。在日本北海道与日本人相处后，取得的经验，让我爱上日本人生活的程序，爱上料理，爱上他们的简单而不失灵魂的室内摆设。导致我很期待我在吉隆玻的新住所，希望会是一个麻雀虽小，五脏俱全的房间，拥有干净及用具俱全的厨房。哪怕有个心血来潮的周末，能够约个三五知己，一起来到家中来个试食大会，饮饮白酒或者清酒，畅所欲言，那种感觉可以是多么的快活！

2个星期前见成份工，不一样的工作岗位，不再是设计师，可以话是同以前的专业调转岗位，但是始终是为设计这个领域效力。这个是我第一个挑战。之后，上个星期，终于找到地方住，这是我第二个挑战。接着下来的一个月，由于新工作需要自备交通，所以我需要找回荒废已久的驾驶技术，这是我第三个挑战。看来，我还有很多不同的挑战等着我来接招。

回来之后，我很希望会有机会多多接触大自然，以及了解大马的旅游胜地。因为有些许羞耻，我身在日本时，当外国人或当地人问我关于大马的旅游胜地时，我不能提供完整的资料给他们，当真不是几好。另外，原来大马在日本人的心目中，拥有很美丽的海与沙滩。我们是否应该觉得骄傲？

我很希望有个风和日丽，天时地利的配合之下，可以乖乖的坐下，为我那24日的旅程及心情故事与相片一起记录下。请大家密切期待。

星期日的晚上，坐在空旷的房间，与我度过了3年半的空间，忽然有点陌生。

也许，属于我的东西都不在身边吧。
忙碌了2个星期，还剩接下来的一个星期，
原来，除了收拾房间有个日期，收拾心情也必须选个好日子。
这几个星期，我都尽量与我在这里相识的朋友约会，
其实也已经预算到我必须不断回答他们一样的问题，尤其是那些不了解我的朋友。

‘为什么要回去？’
‘新加坡不好吗？’
‘马来西亚前景很好吗？’

说真的，我对于这些问题有点反感，马来西亚真的那么不值得留恋吗？
或是，新加坡真的那么好吗？
每个人都有他们不一样的立场啊。
而我，一直都想生活在比较有生气的地方，
而这里，就不能够给我这样的力量。

想了好几年，上一年的年尾终于都下了这个决定。
之前都一直迟疑不肯回去，是因为想存了一笔钱过后才回去。
但是一年又一年，银行户口也不见得有很大的增长，也不晓得花在哪里，
既然是这样，就干脆回去吧。

而且，你在外面独个儿生活久了，
总会想回到属于自己的国土，以及家人的身边。
尤其是当你受到挫折的时候。
家，永远是最好的避风港。

原本，在回国之前，想到香港混个一，两年，打个转，
怎知发了好几封履历表都无声无息的，
唯有专攻回国土吧！
反正那里是我最后实现梦想的目的地。

这七年来，我都经历了不少，
其实不该说经历吧，因为‘经历’好像都是不好的事情，
除了有感情的挫伤，其余的事情，
例如工作这些，我都觉得蛮顺利的，也许是一直不断遇到好的上司吧，
每一次的工作地点都让我有‘万千宠爱在一身’的感觉。
希望这些好运能够跟着我前进。

很期待那还剩两个星期的24天旅程，
原来出了国那么多次，我都不曾试过那么长的旅程。
相信，一定会很难忘吧！

chance is only one time. that's our life

Last weekend I saw this good designer from one of the magazine published in Malaysia. I was impressed by his design, so I browsed through his website since I’m currently looking for job, and I’m so lucky to find out that this Japanese company is currently looking for designer, and they are willing to accept non-Japanese. OK! This is such a good news for me, so I spend time and wrote a better resume in order to impress him.

This morning I emailed him my application, and surprisingly he replied me in just half day time. He threw me few questions, i.e. when can I start work; what is my expected salary; and he told me that their working hour usually is from 10:00 ~ 24:00, sometime work even on Sunday or Public Holiday, Japanese staff work non-stop working 365 days a day.
Such a long working hour right? Ok, I don’t mind since I love design, and if I can learn more things from them. I told him my expected salary is RM5000 ~ RM6000 since the working hour is so long, but it is negotiable.

He replied me in less than 5 minutes:
K: sorry, your proposed fees is too high than my other local employee. Thanks for your interest. (very un-approachable reply)

OK, so I replied him:
Y: please tell me what is the fee that you are looking at? I will try to adjust if possible.

Again, he replied me in less than 5 minutes:
K: It’s OK, chance is only one time. That’s our life. Thank you for interest, anyway.

When I receive his replied, I really feel so shock, and speechless.
Why are Japanese always so strict?
Why can’t they give people chance?
That is ridiculous! I feel so fed-up, and I cannot take it because this is such a drastic change of emotion for just 30 minutes!

妈妈节快乐

今天是母亲节。我身在异乡，没办法与母亲及家人庆祝。其实我们也没什么特别的庆祝方法，往年都是出外吃顿晚餐。我们家人都比较含蓄，我也不例外。不过比起以往还没离开家里时，现在的我进步了不少。离家后，与家人的关系居然不是疏远，而是更进一步。也许是因为久久回去一次，所以会更珍惜吧。尤其是偶尔讲起我小时候的往事，感觉更好。哈哈。我最记得妈妈经常提起我大概2，3岁时从家里的二楼滚下来的事。因为以前家境不富裕，所以爸妈都必须出去工作，而把我留在家里让二哥及其他姐姐照顾，当时的他们，好像都在忙，而忽略了我，结果就不知怎么样我爬上了二楼，再从上面滚下来。哈哈。我妈每次都说，庆幸我没有跌傻了。

我妈生我的时候是高龄产妇- 38岁。然后我都觉得我是一个‘意外’。因为我与哥哥姐姐相差得岁数都很远。最小的三姐大我9年，大哥大我19年！几乎可以当我爸爸了。所以当我很小很小的时候，他们不是读中学，就是已经去城市打拼了。庆幸童年时我住在乡村地方直到8岁，我有所谓的‘青梅竹马’与我一起玩泥巴，玩‘guli’，踏脚车，抓小鸡，到橡胶园喂蚊子等等之类的童年。。

8岁后，我就与家人搬到城市，就是马来西亚所谓的‘花园’。那里都是排屋，没有东西可以玩，也没有‘青梅竹马’。不过也对的，都8岁了，就该专心读书。那时候，妈妈有一份工作，就是到鱼丸厂做女工，还有爸爸就当建筑工人。每次下午我早放学的话，就会自己回到家，然后吃饭之类的都是自己搞定。忘了何时，应该是上了中学后，妈妈没有出外工作了，就在家里顾小孩。那时我也还蛮讨厌的，因为我必须帮忙照顾，而她一哭的时候，我真的是会疯了！那时，我一直觉得我与爸爸的关系比较密切，因为每个早上都是他骑着他那老铁马载我上学，到我中五毕业为止。小学的时候，他会带我到巴杀吃早餐，每次我的美禄送到时，他都会帮我倒到那个承着小杯的盘子，因为这样会比较不烧。偶尔在家吃早餐，他会替我冲美禄，然后我会吃我的苏打饼加美禄粉。我记得有一次早上，妈妈不知为了什么事，骂了我一顿。然后我忍不住哭了起来，抱着没有穿上衣的爸爸哭了一顿。那一个拥抱的感觉及味道，不知为什么，可以印象深刻到现在。也许，那一次过后，我就没有再抱过爸爸了。
然后我也记得有一次早上，我好像有梦游症似的，天还未亮，我就走去换校服，拿书包，结果在沙发上睡着。哈哈。
有一次也是在上学前，刚睡醒，睡眼朦胧的坐在床上，怎知那么幸运又那么准的，一只壁虎从天花板上掉下来，掉进我的睡衣。啊！怎么我的背后冷冰冰的？我跳啊跳，忽然看见一条尾巴掉下，过后就看见没有尾巴的壁虎掉下来爬去一个角落里。哈哈。
从小到大，我都觉得爸妈没什么理会我，都让我任由发挥。也许是年纪大了，也照顾了那么多个小孩，累了，所以也没什么力气教我。所以责任就交给了我两位姐姐。不过，我没有怪他们，因为我知道天下的爸妈都是爱自己的子女，只是不同的表达方式而已。至少我没有学坏，现在我有能力养自己，偶尔给一给生活费他们，然后他们偶尔又可以出国游玩。
我希望他们会满意现在老了的生活，不需要忧心其他的事情。就只是这么简单。

最近累，很累。
上星期病倒了，可是却不能趁机偷个懒，依然必须埋头苦干。
星期日终于能够整天呆在家里，用一个字来形容：‘爽’！
我为自己亲手煮了我人生中的第一碗白粥。
对，是一碗只有干贝当佐料的白粥！
哈哈，我知道我很没有用，下厨经验少之又少，可是我也不想的，
我其实爱下厨，只是没有机会，没有适当的工具而已。
:)
说回星期日，真的感觉很好，睡醒了，做打扫，读一读我的日文，闷了，
看看杂志，看看港剧再继续，就这样，过了一个悠闲自在的一天！

然后呢，过了礼拜天，当然又要展开一个崭新的星期。
依然，不是很好过。
带着百般不愿的心情，必须在拜五前赶完一个proposal，很讨厌这种那么‘人命关天’的deadline，
再加上这位巴西客人有点难以抓摸。
感觉自己不是什么设计师，完全没有自己的立场。
不过，算了，
反正时日不多，我应该好好为公司付出。

然后留在新加坡的日子只剩3个星期不到的时间，
最近都有陆陆续续与朋友叙旧及来个‘最后晚餐’。

原来倒数一个月，我就能飞往我梦寐以求的国度了，
没有机会兴奋，或紧张，
因为没有多余时间能培养感情。hmmmp~

转眼间，原来我呆在新加坡的日子，谨剩15天又27天。
加起来42天。
我没有去想，我该留恋些什么。

心血来潮想找个适合的伴看恋爱红豆冰，都那么难～叹！
每个拜二拜四要去跑步，它却偏偏选这两天，还特意在傍晚时分下个倾盆大雨！
在等电话，却等到不想等的电话！
发了几乎10封的求职信，却只有一个回复我！不过我希望能一击即重！
刚刚在巴士站等巴士时，却听到附近酒吧像杀鸡般的‘你最珍贵’....

看来一切都事与愿违似的。
还是看看唐伯虎怒点秋香，笑一笑

明天会更好。

Last Friday after work, went Starbucks at Central, Clarke Quay, which is just walking distance from my office. found a place to sit down, placed order for my cup of usual "non-fat, no wheat cream, tall size hot mocha", and a piece of cranberry orange bagel, holding my new bought TOKYO handbook from Kinokuniya, sat down quietly and concentrate on doing my research to TOKYO. even though i'm only staying there for 3 days 2 nights. but i have the habit to buy a tour book for every new journey, esp free & easy type, as i don't wish to waste my trip without doing research, and also to keep all tour book as one of the significant for my each travel :)

生活品味 X 品味生活

一直以来，我都可以将自己归类为:"提倡健康生活"的一族。为什么？因为我爱自己，我希望自己可以身体健康，因为脑袋里实在有太多想要做的事情，却还未做到。

以下的生活是我一直以来所向往的，但愿离开这里后的我，能够重新规划自己的生活作息，让自己更爱自己。

让自己拥有完美的生活之前，条件分为两类：

1：实物，既是必须拥有一间属于自己的家，尤其是舒适的睡房，以及厨房！因为，厨房就是让自己活得健康的一大工具！

2：毅力，不能够三分钟热度。必要持之与恒！

24小时里，最重要的当然是晚上拥有足够的睡眠，以及在每个早晨扮演着非常重要角色的- 早餐！可以的话，一定要在上班前的半个小时，为自己准备一份丰富的早餐，让自己好好坐下来品尝。不需要太过花巧，只需要一杯浓郁芬芳的热黑咖啡，加上面包或饼干，就能为我的早晨画上一个美好的开始。轻尝早餐之余，最好能够翻翻报纸，让自己知道当天的国家大事，或是娱乐界的八卦新闻也不错。过后，我要以轻盈不急促的步伐踏上上班的路途。

午餐时间当然不能过于着重健康食品，毕竟，外面卖的健康食品往往比不健康的来得昂贵, 也不容易找。而且本身也不能当独行侠，还是需要迎合同事之间的喜好。

而打拼了一天过后，回到温暖的家，冲个热水凉，为自己准备简单的晚餐。菜单最好是水果拼盘，或面包类，意大利面，清淡的水煮面，或青菜，就已经很完美了。一个星期最好有2-3天的跑步/运动日，好让自己消耗不必要的热量，以及让自己趁机松懈下来。

而周末呢，我不会强迫自己要早睡早起，让我来个自然醒吧！拜六就会集中于我的大扫除，洗衣，洗地，洗厕所。。就这样就过了我整个下午。晚上若不想出去，最享受的莫过于能够一个人坐在舒服的沙发上看光碟，喝杯白酒，再加点小吃。当有点醉醺醺时，就能倒头就睡，直到第二天的假日。

礼拜天，可以到郊外或者海边走走，再为我的相机谋杀一些菲林，让它记录下我生活的点点滴滴，这该有多美好啊。再不然也可以约个三五知己，一起闲聊和品尝下午茶，过个慵懒的下午。那该多好啊！

好有贵族feel!

活着，真好

摔倒了又有什么呢，再站起来就行了。摔倒的同时仰望天空，蓝蓝的的天空今天也是广阔无边地微笑着，我是活着的。

哭得泪流满面，上个星期开始重看‘一公升的眼泪’，从第一集到最后一集，我的却给了这部由真人真事改篇的日剧流了将近1公升的眼泪。

3年前第一次看时，没有那么严重。也许年长了，经历过的事情多了些，就比较容易感触，被感动。以前看悲剧时，都不会这样，曾经觉得自己很冷血。但是，现在不一样了，有点感动的场面，都足于让我的眼眶泪汪汪的。

说回这部剧吧，描述一个15岁刚入高中，正值青春洋溢，对未来充满憧憬的女生，不幸罹患了一种不能医治的病-- 「脊髓小腦萎縮症」，一種會逐步奪去行動及說話能力，直至身體機能完全停止的不治之症。

她非常的伤心，却也努力的与病魔抗战，以及不断鼓励观众要努力的活下去，提醒大家活着真好的意义。

“我不能活动，也没有办法帮助任何人，但是我想生存下去！”

最让我感动的是陪伴在她身旁的家人，尤其是那伟大的母亲。可想，当母亲不容易，自己暗自痛苦，又不能了解女儿所忍受的痛。这部剧让我领悟到了不少人生道理，让我知道，当有梦时就该追逐；当能快乐时，就不要吝啬自己的笑容；当有疼爱你的家人，朋友时，就要珍惜；当身边有人愿意陪你度过生活时，就该接受。

其实很多东西，我们都知道，不断的有这些故事，短片及文章，重复性的提醒大家不要忘记这些能让自己快乐的真正道理。

也许，“死亡并不可怕，可怕的是我们在死亡面前轻易就放弃自己”。

父母 X 小孩

小孩，该怎么教？
身为父母的，身教很重要，自己的言行举止很重要，身边的朋友很重要，总而言之，小孩子很容易被身边的人，事，物影响，尤其是12岁以下的。
1至12岁的这个阶段，身为父母的，若有任何参差，分分钟这个小孩的下半身就会完蛋。父母对孩子疏忽照顾，把他一个人扔在家里，认为12岁的他，会自己乖乖的做功课，谁知道，他在家里玩电脑，打电话与朋友闲聊？成绩逐渐下滑，没有去想背后的原因到底是什么，只是一味与他吵嘴，认为他苯，认为他应该要补习，认为他不专心。为什么不想想自己本身身为母亲的问题？
12岁后，叛逆期逐渐逼近，身边的好友若不是什么品行兼优的，再加上自己对孩子的疏忽，即疏于管教的话，那就恭喜你了，他的前途也会跟着那一群同党没什么两样。加上现在科技发达，按一按键盘，想要看什么短片，什么资料，好的坏的，网上一应俱全。

看过父母骂粗口的，孩子也跟着学。外人想提醒他，他说他妈妈也是这样。
看过父母骂自己孩子笨蛋，如猪脑。那好吧，小孩就像猪一样继续学习。
看过父母说一大堆不正规，不对搭的语言。那好吧，小孩也一样把它们写在要交的作文簿里。
还有很多很多。

我曾经告诉自己，若有机会的话，我要孩子在最完美的家庭环境里成长，我要给予他美丽的童年，自己与另一半树立一个好榜样给他看。
但是，说就容易，当要实行的时候，就真的需要很多耐力，金钱及鼓励。

名副其实的古城

翻看上一年农历新年时，去马六甲的照片。
乍看之下，原来马六甲真的是那么有风味，那么有感觉。
都不知道是不是自己生活在城市太久，
看到这种难得一见的建筑物或情景，
总会觉得好激动，好感动.

看到那些剖落的漆，可以知道这栋建筑物受了多少风吹雨打，住在里面的人，历经了多少的沧桑。

铺满灰尘的道具，家私，觉得这些东西一定服务了很多人，带给了他们很多便利。

看见老人家与三五知己在屋外乘凉，都会觉得他们一定是劳碌了整大半世人，现在难得能够偷闲，是件多么温馨及幸福的事。

幸福流逝

近来看的书是深雪著作的‘幸谣说’。一贯她的作风，奇奇怪怪，天荒夜谈。
这次，让我留意到当中一句- ‘幸福的流逝，代表新的幸福将会诞生’。

书中女主角是一位可以预知未来的使者，她拥有完美的外表，完美的事业，完美的心灵，完美的男友。但是，有一天她却预知2年后的她将会失去爱情，她的人生不再完美。
不过，她并没有利用传递者，去阻止这一切的发生，反而选择接受，因为他相信就算这段幸福流逝了，未来的幸福将会等待他。

所以，很多事情真的不需要过于执著。
而我，已经决定放弃一段幸福，
因为，我相信，这段幸福流逝后，另一段幸福才能够诞生。对吗？^^

First of all, let me do some brief introduction about my 'intimate' relationship between myself & Japan. People who don't know me surely don't know that i'm quite crazy about Japan. Everything about Japan, from human til sake.

The first time i ate Japanese food was when I'm secondary school, 2 of my sisters brought me to Allson Hotel @ Seremban (now become Adelphi) to try this Japanese buffet lunch. My very first time with Japanese food!! i don't take raw food and i only ate tenpura. After that, i don't have much memory about that.

Until i reach singapore 8 years ago to do my study here. Due to money constraint, i have to find part time job to earn pocket money T.T, which i don't regret at all, as i feel so happy during that time :)
My elder sister recommended me to work in a Japanese restaurant where she has a friend who work as sushi chef over there. Plenty of Japanese customers go there for dinner, esp those lonely + 'ham sap' Japanese ojisan. hahahah.
I started to involve into their japanese culture - almost 90 degrees bow, very polite, always HAI!, act ka-wa-i smile.. start to fall in love with Japanese food, start to eat sashimi *yummy!* ..and my first time to get in touch with alcohol is warm sake, which almost make me shut down after a few glasses of that...
after 2 years of work, i quit and joined in another Japanese restaurant which offer higher paid. 2 of the bosses are japanese, obviously, they tend to attract more regular japanese customers, and i met my very best friend in Singapore - Miki who is working as full-timer there :)

Besides working, I decided to take part time course in Japanese language due to all above mentioned items. after almost 4 years, I'm still not an expert, which make me quite frustrated some time :( so, i will work harder by self-study this year!

OK sorry, back to my main topic. Well, guess the most interesting life i gain in Singapore is I get to know more about Japan. But, after waited for so many years, finally i received this fabulous information from my classmate - Jun San regarding this exchange programme - WWOOF. I don't need to spend a lot (which is my main concern for not travel to Japan after so many years), i pay for my own airticket and other transportation/ pocket money, i help my host to work, and in return, they will provide me with free meals & accomodation!

After a long research on CHEAP air ticket fly to Japan, finally i have made my mind! Tour will start from 6th June - 30th June! and I will have a long break after so many years of work!

The place that I'm heading to is Hokkaido - a place named "Sounkyo 層雲峡" (the kanji name sound like those old martial movie right..haha).. I have totally no idea where is this place! But i know i'm going to a host who own a backpacker hostel over there, and this is a place full of natural resources ♥

From what i 'google', guess this place is very famous for their 'onsen' - hot spring!!! beautiful waterfall, valley and mountain climbing... wohooo~ ♥

新年期间用fisheye + red scale film 拍了一卷照片。red scale film 出来的效果让我必须用‘心花怒放’来形容我当时从相馆拿着照片的心情。

很喜欢这个在马来西亚-tanjong sepat渔村。很有回到基本，回到原始，回到童年的感觉。

原来用red scale film拍即将下山的夕阳，出来的颜色是这样的。

很喜欢这张被拉长身影的角度。以及后面的夕阳。

身后这家店专卖包点。特别的有梅菜及花生陷料的。对面所卖的咖啡也很好喝。名香港食家-滔滔也曾经介绍过这家店

接下来的半年，我的生活好似不断的与''收拾''有关。

收拾行装，收拾心情，收拾公事，收拾关系，收拾私事，收拾户口，收拾。。。

本来上个星期日会搬去家姐度住（为左锵番d租金），点知，''峰回路转''的，我依然留番系呢个地理环境都非常之优越的房，的家，的地区。哈哈。

所以，之前pack左的东西，又要un-pack番，你话，系咪好搞笑？

几个月前，为了要运番d''不必要''的东西，已经来左一次大收拾了。不过，吾知点解，我的东西永远都拾唔晒，一直有增无减？

2010年的每一日，确实不断发生好多预料不到的东西。

当然，我决意离开的打算是不变的。

所以，就算这段时间有任何惊人的事发生，我都会招架得住ge。

马来西亚-北海道-香港-2010年我在此！

好盼望8日后回家过年的日子啊！哈哈哈。

If you’re single, travel for business, or just enjoy savoring a meal without small talk, you’ve probably had the experience of dining alone. This can be immensely pleasurable or incredibly daunting, depending on your temperament and overall approach. To ensure your next table-for-one adventure is as enjoyable as possible, BHG offers up these time-tested tips for dining alone.

1. Be Bookish.
Always come armed with reading material. Having something to read not only keeps you from getting bored but also serves as a shield against waitstaff pity or unwanted conversational overtures from fellow patrons. Keep in mind that certain reading choices are better than others due to their portability and fold-ability (good: Sports Illustrated bad: War and Peace). In fact, frequent dining alone might be the real motivation for investing in a Kindle – although be wary of spilled beverages!

2. Try The Bar.
For many would-be solo diners, the fear of being surrounded by lovey-dovey couples or raucous groups can be prohibitive. Requesting a seat at the bar is a good solution: Most restaurants will serve the full menu, bar seating is casual and low-profile, and you're likely to be surrounded by other content singletons.

3. Exude Confidence.
Stride up to the host or hostess and proudly request your table. Never shrug or say, “just me” as though you’re apologizing. It takes guts to eat alone, and you should command the respect you deserve.

4. Eavesdrop.
People in restaurants tend to be drinking, which often results in loud talking, over-sharing, bawdy jokes, or bitter marital brawls. Either way you can (discreetly) listen in on proximate tables and gain valuable insight into the human condition. Bonus points for detecting awkward first-time Internet dates.

5. Befriend Your Blackberry.
Most of us are borderline addicted to checking our Blackberries or mobile phones. While it’s impolite to do this in the company of others, it's an absolutely acceptable activity when you’re dining alone: Reading the news, checking your Twitter feed, fondly reading old emails from loved ones, or scanning your secret crush’s Facebook page...the wireless possibilities are endless.

6. Go, Team!
Even if you’re not terribly into sports, if there’s a game playing, become a fan for the evening. You’ll be surprised how an entranced gaze up at the screen now and then will give you a sense of purpose, as will a well-timed groan of defeat or hearty fist-pumping “Yes!”

7. Think Like A Food Critic.
Pretend you are reviewing the restaurant. Observe the nuances of each course, take in the presentation, note the faults and strengths of the décor and keep a sharp eye on the service. This puts you in a position of judgment – always empowering.

8. Life Is Short, Enjoy The Steak.
Finally, remember to relax, enjoy yourself, and focus on the positives of solo dining. Just think: There will be no quibbling over who pays, no awkward pauses, and no drawn-out discussions about your companion's relationship or work problems. You really can be your own best dinner date.

*You often do this when you are away from home. Me, yes. And i don't feel anything wrong for dining alone. Is an enjoyable process when you can have a clear mind, silent dining process. I agree with the last one: Life is short, enjoy the steak ;) cheers.

“这十四年来你过得好吗？”这么简单的一句问候语，没想到会让我那么的感慨。
没想到这么简单的一句问候语能够深深的让我觉得窝心。
也许，这么多年来，身边围绕着不少形形色色的朋友/ 好朋友，
但是，知心的又有哪几个呢？
屈指一数，原来五个手指是够用的。

这样的句子让我觉得很感慨，也许，是因为我还是单身的原因。
有单身的人曾经告诉我，现在一个人活得很好，很潇洒。
但是，若没有为自己找另一半，那往后的日子该怎么过？
没有人替你继香灯，你对得起自己的祖先吗？
当你两脚一伸的时候，有人会在旁边为你痛哭哀悼吗？
你死了后，还会有后人记得你的存在吗？
活了那么那么多年，你对这个社会，对这个世界有作出丁点的贡献吗？

所以，你说，以上的那一句话是多么的有影响力？
在完全没有联络，没有出现在他面前的这14年，
原来在某个角落的他，依然记得有你这个人物的存在，
这真的证明了，
这14年来，你不是白过的。
而且，说得对，陪你一起成长的小学/ 中学朋友才是最珍贵，最情比金坚的。
也许，10多年不见，10几个月不见，大家会一起嘘寒问暖，会一起重视对方的存在。
而不是一些肤浅的友情，不见几个月，就形如陌路人。
还有，所谓用facebook, msn来联络的，又哪能胜过一通越洋的电话，亲耳听到那把真诚的声音呢？

但是，
当自己有自己想行的路，想用自己的一双手为自己铺这条柏油路。也许，条路不明确，也许，会跌跌撞撞，才会到终点。
不过，若无跌过，又如何成长？
但是，可遇不可求。如果错过了，会后悔吗？
做人真矛盾。

第一次用120胶卷，第一次觉得原来胶卷都可以那么细心。

入菲林时有很战战兢兢及兴奋的感觉。。第一次见到有那么多‘signage’ 的胶卷。哈哈。

"start", "end".... 同埋奇奇怪怪的符号来代表卷胶卷影到第几张相。。

Received my early birthday present from my dearest boss, Frank. Thanks for completing my collection, and thanks for making my life busier.. ! Each of them will be my companion for all my travel around the world :)

My collection: Supersampler (top one in blue) - why it is in a plastic? The material for this supersampler is not that good, as it made by rubber. When time goes by (this is my first lomo which bought 2 years ago), the rubber become sticky! and i can't hold it properly. So.. seldom use it anymore :(

mini Diana F+ - bought this at HK on aug, very nice & cute outlook.. it has another name - baby Diana ;D

However, i still wish for another camera, a digital camera... Lumix GF-1! and i believe this will even complete my shooting life :D

曼谷之旅

5天4夜的曼谷之旅已經完畢。上一年去過普吉島，泰國人給我的印象很好，這次的曼谷之旅也一樣。幾乎每一個階級的人都很有禮貌，很友善，也很斯文。即使在街邊擺擋的人，亦都不會對你粗聲粗氣，而且很樂意助人。

第四日我們的行程表是要去位於thonglo 的h1。由地鐵站行了好耐都沒有眉目，見到間書店，唯有入去問路。那為好似浸過咸水的女士，用好鬼的英文為我們講解那確實位置在哪裡，到最後她亦很好心的車我們一程到達目的地。但是原來h1沒有想像中那麼多東西睇，因為他本身是一间設計學校，好型格的幾棟樓。延路行返去地鐵站，見到好多好有feel的建築物，家私鋪，茶座，高尚店舖及突然之間系條街出現的街邊小食。

當晚我們逗留在siam paragon，一間好勁好大的廣場。由於有時間，再加上我們二人都未睇2012，我們就決定系度齊齊觀看。牠的戲院勁大，加上椅背可以攪動，實在是值回190baht的票價。最令我敬佩的是，戲未上映前，戲院會播國歌，在座觀眾一定要豎靜起立以示尊敬。由此可见，他們確實對他們的國王如神0甘供奉，難以像它日他駕崩的話，人民會惦？

講返第一日的行程，其實我們有在pattaya過一晚，不過不是好有意義。可能人少，加上兩位妙齡女子，在那邊這個男人天堂都不會有特別發為。。

第二日上午check out後，就搭巴士過曼谷，浪費了不少時間。

夜晚去suan lum 夜市，形形式式的檔口看到我們眼花僚亂！

星期日的chatuchak 市集比起那邊大好多倍！！我們行到手軟腳軟，当然。。收穫不少！但是始終質地不會好到去邊。

當晚，終於有些許空蕩可以去tcdc，好正啊！如果每個城市都有0甘正的圖書館就好啦！之後，我們決定去體驗曼谷市的夜生活，就過左去一條叫RCA的浦点，原來他們的club都不錯，而且夠大，設計也很美。

這幾日發現都不少泰籍靚仔靚女，高佻的身型與美麗的輪廓，令我們大抱眼福。

最後一日可以話比較有滿足感，我們去siam discovery，原來其中一層是有那麼多designer stuff to see！我買左個好正的a3 portfolio袋俾我老板當聖誕兼生日禮物。。(view: www.goodjobstore.com) 之後有些許後悔，我應該都為自己買番個！系旅行时无买到自己喜欢的东西，就系旅行最忌的事！至于食物方面，原來他們的廣場，餐館可以比得上新加坡；與香港媲美。相比的，價錢卻比較底，但是咖啡與食物是不輸兩者的。

這次旅行，虽然我们错过了不少景点观光，也没有去他的floating market。。但是，我睇到曼谷的另一面。它們的人民，有些丰衣足食，有些活得節衣縮食；豪華的都市里，一邊可以是華麗的廣場，最完美的娛樂設備；而同一時間，就在馬路的對面，可以見到好多路邊攤，最原始的一面。

下一次我再返0黎這個地方的話，我會將那個旅程當做悠闲之旅。。因為牠有一流的按摩，平而優的食物享受，有我鍾意的設計師物品及服裝，親切的服務以及方便的交通設備。

我就是同这位靓女2人行~

有一個人去應徵工作，隨手將走廊上的紙屑撿起來，放進了垃圾桶，被路過的口試官看到了，因此他得到了這份工作。
原來獲得賞識很簡單，養成好習慣就可以了

有個小弟在腳踏車店當學徒，有人送來一部故障的腳踏車，小弟除了將車修好，還把車子整理的漂亮如新，其他學徒笑他多此一舉，後來雇主將腳踏車領回去的第二天，小弟被挖角到那位雇主的公司上班。
原來出人頭地很簡單，吃點虧就可以了

有個小孩對母親說：「媽媽你今天好漂亮。」母親回答：「為什麼。」小孩說「因為媽媽今天都沒有生氣。」
原來要擁有漂亮很簡單，只要不生氣就可以了

有個牧場主人，叫他孩子每天在牧場上辛勤的工作，朋友對他說：「你不需要讓孩子如此辛苦，農作物一樣會長得很好的。」牧場主人回答說：「我不是在培養農作物，我是在培養我的孩子。」
原來培養孩子很簡單，讓他吃點苦頭就可以了

有一個網球教練對學生說：「如果一個網球掉進草堆裏，應該如何找？」有人答：「從草堆中心線開始找。」有人答：「從草堆的最凹處開始找。」有人答：「從草最長的地方開始找。」教練宣布正確答案：「按部就班的從草地的一頭，搜尋到草地的另一。」
原來尋找成功的方法很簡單，從一數到十不要跳過就可以了。

有一家商店經常燈火通明，有人問：「你們店裡到底是用什麼牌子的燈管？那麼耐用。」店家回答說：「我們的燈管也常常壞，祇是我們壞了就換而已。」
原來保持明亮的方法很簡單，只要常常更換就可以了

住在田邊的青蛙對住在路邊的青蛙說：「你這裡太危險，搬來跟我住吧！」路邊的青蛙說：「我已經習慣了，懶得搬了。」幾天後，田邊的青蛙去探望路邊的青蛙，卻發現他已被車子壓死，暴屍在馬路上。
原來掌握命運的方法很簡單，遠離懶惰就可以了。

有一隻小雞破殼而出的時候，剛好有隻烏龜經過，從此以後小雞就背著蛋殼過一生。
原來脫離沉重的負荷很簡單，放棄固執成見就可以了

有幾個小孩很想當天使，上帝給他們一人一個燭臺，叫他們要保持光亮，結果一天兩天過去了，上帝都沒來，所有小孩已不再擦拭那燭臺，有一天上帝突然造訪，每個人的燭臺都蒙上厚厚的灰塵，只有一個小孩大家都叫他笨小孩，因為上帝沒來，他也每天都擦拭，結果這個笨小孩成了天使。
原來當天使很簡單，只要實實在在去做就可以了

有隻小豬，向神請求做祂的門徒，神欣然答應，剛好有一頭小牛由泥沼裡爬出來，渾身都是泥濘，神對小豬說：「去幫他洗洗身子吧！」小豬訝異的答道：「我是神的門徒，怎麼能去侍候那髒兮兮的小牛呢！」神說：「你不去侍候別人，別人怎會知道，你是我的門徒呢！」
原來要變成神的門徒很簡單，只要真心付出就可以了

有一支掏金隊伍在沙漠中行走，大家都步伐沉重，痛苦不堪，只有一人快樂的走著，別人問：「你為何如此愜意？」他笑著：「因為我帶的東西最少。」
原來快樂很簡單，擁有少一點就可以了。

人生的光彩在哪裡？
早上醒來，光彩在臉上，充滿笑容的迎接未來。
到了中午，光彩在腰上，挺直腰桿的活在當下。
到了晚上，光彩在腳上，腳踏實地的做好自己。
原來人生也很簡單，只要能懂得「珍惜、知足、感恩」你就擁有了生命的光彩

Is Singapore Design Festival from 20-30 November 2009. Attended 1 of the talk by Professor Pierre Keller, Director of ECAL/University of Art and Design Lausanne. From his talk, i just realise that there is this course: Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Luxury and Design programme. What do you mean by Luxury and Design course? Neh... for example, one of their design piece is to use thousands of Swarovski crystal and stick it on snowboard... for exhibition... OR, a set of tableware which cost you over 10 thousands.. ya.. this kind of luxury course :)

this is the Prof.. he say people can hide underneath that table when earthquake. (HA-HA)

This talk is organize in my former school - Lasalle College of the Arts, this is their new campus.. very very nice architecture! In Singapore, i like this masterpiece the most! So, share with you guys on how it looks like.. Too bad, i was not managed to experience my school life from here, as this new campus just completed 2 years ago :(

雨天.阴天

连日来的下雨天，不断的细雨绵绵，或是忽然的倾盆大雨，弄得我心情也必须转为阴天，以配合天气的需求。
下雨天，对我的影响，就是我不能跑步，不能感受太阳的正能量。
再加上郁闷的工作，每天对着一大堆的文件，打一大堆的电话，让我忧郁的心情雪上加霜。
昨天，又下了一整天的雨，跑步计划又要泡汤。
很想看2012，结果找遍了电话联络簿，都找不到适合的人选陪我看这部电影。
原来，我在新加坡的朋友是那么少的可怜。
终于，经好友miki的提醒，我想到了他！
但是，由于太过即兴，加上2012的票房那么好，我们被迫要看这套名为，
Paranormal activity，听说是一部不错的恐怖电影。
但是，我们。。。中途离场了。。这也是我25年来，除了会睡着外，第一次的离场经历。
话说，他的拍摄手法是利用一部摄录机拍的，就是那种很原始，没有加工剪辑的。
故事发生在一间屋里，女主角自8岁开始就被鬼怪纠缠，为了找出真相，他与男友决定记录下他们每一天的活动，包括睡觉，以便找出背后的古怪。

店铺富丽堂皇的装饰，圣诞促销呼之欲出，好不热闹。
看着别人乐也融融，以及形影不离的情侣，
就算平时过得多么潇洒，多么自由的单身分子，
在这种每逢佳节倍思亲的时候，
孤独及落寞感必会顿时侵蚀你的五腑六藏。
如书中所描述的- 这种时候最容易走错方向，会招来‘不必要的麻烦’，
所以，还是回家避难，准备拜六还要被迫上班的心情会来得比较好。

let's run

i pick up running since 1.5 year ago. when i first started, yes, i run 30 mins, but i'm those who run 5 mins, rest for 3 mins, and continue 5,3,5,3.. type, which is not a right way to do so! so.... i decided to join in uncle kelvin - my coursemate, who is a marathon runner. 8 mths ago, we join in this serious & hectic "singapore i-run" which is held nearby our office at Raffles Place, every tues & thurs 7pm, there will be a running session (3, 5, 7, 10km) which open for public. after i join in this, i can see plenty of 'athletic' who is damn serious about this, and i believe they all participate in half marathon 21km, or even full marathon 42km....

well, what i would like to express is.... in our daily life, we feel 30 mins or 1 hour is hard to pass, but in a non-stop 30mins running session, you will feel 1 min is damn hard to pass! anyway, running not only burn your fat, burn your calorie, some how help you to tone up abit... it does help to build your stamina, make you healthier, more glowing & energetic look alike, train your patience (as you will feel 1 min is slow like hell) and it does help you to distress! so, let's run! :D

大家都对我的回国决定觉得很好奇，别人问起，我都不能给个非常完美的答案，一个能说服自己，或说服别人的回答。
“为何你会想要离开这个那么地利人和，外国人都响往，人民安居乐业，生活富裕，100%安全的国家？”
为何，我要回去那个不稳定，只有50%安全的国家，没什么国际信誉的地方呢？

看了vicky的一篇文章后，我终于领悟到。

让我回去的，不是这些外在的不安，而是心灵上的平静。。以及：‘你们都在这里’！
每次回去，虽然仅有短短的几天，但是都会觉得过得无比温馨。就算只呆在家里，懒散的过着，我都觉得无比充实。。想到能够与一群好友在一起，就算聚在附近的mamak 档吃着廉价的道地食物，都能够畅所欲言。能够一起驱车到郊外，到别的城市，到别人的家里聚会，这种快乐是无比的。与家人能够坐在家里看电视，八卦着电视里的男女主角，吃妈妈煮的小菜，某个周末，一起到海边吃海鲜。多么的贴心！

因为你们，马来西亚是我最爱的城市，最爱的家。

刚刚睇完属于michael jackson 的纪录片‘this is it’。获知他的噩耗之后，并不会觉得过度可惜，可能我不是他的忠实fans。
不过，睇完这套电影之后，觉得他真的是一位天王巨星。失去了他，绝对是歌坛的一个遗憾。

我觉得，如果这套电影可以在室外播放，大家闻歌起舞，一定会更加精彩，更加显示他与乐队的舞台魅力。

套用陈奕迅‘上五楼的快活’，让我来个上二楼的快活吧。

还有少过2个月的时间，我就要离开这仅有四面壁的超小办公室了。到12月为止，困在这里刚满1年。明年1月，我们就会拥有属于自己的办公室。对不起，应该说老板终于有了属于他的天地。

离开7楼的好处：

1。不需要再担心我的woofer ‘震’到隔壁房

2。不需要等电梯，再陪那群阿X从一楼，二楼，三楼，四楼，五楼，六楼，乘到七楼

3。不需要再看到那露胸毛的阿X

4。不需要再用大厦供应那质地超差的厕纸

5。不需要在6点30分后，除了要加班，还要挨没有空调的晚上

6。只能限制在装的下2人的空间，多余的必须站立，再多的话，就‘无定企’

上二楼的好处：

1。可以为所欲为。一个人时把音量调到最高也应该不会有人阻止，不会有人投诉。

2。拥有更多的活动空间，而不再只是在那长方形里兜兜转转。

3。楼下有很多好吃的。而且7-11就在楼下。

4。晚上不会觉得寂寞。因为整条街都是酒吧，好不热闹。

5。不需要一踏出公司就看不见天空。

6。终于能在办公室内知道到底外面是阴天，或晴天。

7。可以边做工，边喝白酒或梅酒。

8。可以胡乱涂鸦。

9。亲朋戚友有兴趣的话，可以随时过来做客。

上二楼的坏处：

1。不再拥有倒不完的咖啡。而导致需要花钱买。

2。没有阿姨替你洗杯，洗餐具。

3。没有阿姨替你抹桌子，吸尘。

4。需要自己洗厕所，买厕纸。

5。没有邻居与你谈天。而导致自闭症加深。

虽然我只能待在2楼半年。不过，通常都是事情越短暂，就越美丽。

模糊不清

到底公司里是否会拥有真正的‘友谊’呢？抑或，你离开公司后，大家就分道扬镳，你死你的事呢？
之前的公司，一直以来都给A一个很‘家’的感觉。无论同事或上司，大家都过得很融洽，像家人般相处。
一年前，A为了追逐她想要的，离开了这所谓的‘家’。决定要离开前及后，都非常的挣扎，非常的难舍难离。

但是，之前的挣扎，代表什么？

离开第二天，大家都迫不及待的告诉你大家有多想你；没有你的日子多么不习惯；看见空荡荡的位子有点难过。。。

离开一个月后，大家恢复正常，不再理会你的生活，不再关心你的事情。
更离谱的事，把你妹妹般看待的上司，老板们，就算见到面，连给你一句问候语都嫌多余；在酒吧碰到，连向你敬杯酒的力气也省了。
怎么啦？离开贵公司就代表背叛吗？
A有时在想，到底是别人的问题，或是自己本身有问题，
不懂得怎么去处理这种尴尬的状况，或是模糊的关系。
其实，会很模糊吗？告别了同事关系，或员工关系，就变成朋友咯。
需要那么复杂吗？
算了，
与其去想到低问题出在哪里，不如珍惜现在眼前的朋友来的更实际。

i found out about this artist - ZEVS from HK Ming Pau Weekly.. in an article about his 'vandalism' on Chanel logo (click to view video) at Central, HK. Zevs interested me by this activities named- "Visual Kidnapping"..

In 2002 he cut out a model of a gigantic Lavazza-poster at Alexanderplatz in Berlin. Above the hole in the poster he wrote: "VISUAL KIDNAPPING - PAY NOW!" This intervention not only struck a chord with art lovers and people in Berlin. It has also inspired political activists. Stealing an image from a poster in Germany is now spoken of in the media as a visual kidnapping.

"Visual kidnapping is like entering an interactive game: If the brand on the billboard kidnaps the attention of the public with the purpose of consumer demand, I reverse the situation and I kidnap the model on the poster and I demand a ransom of 500,000€ from the brand. haha, funny right? and according to MPW, he even cut a finger of the model from that poster, and post it to the owner to request for ransom! :D

新加坡这个小国度，我生活了7年。7年前的我，甚至是求学时期，每当年尾放长假就会过来这里度假的我，觉得这个国家很好，人民过得很有规律，地方也很干净，拥有将近80巴仙的华人，让我觉得很有亲却感。
在这里日子久了，开始有自己的想法，不再被别人牵着鼻子走，再加上我一向对中文这个有万年深渊历史特有情操，而导致我渐渐开始讨厌这个不爱自己母语的国家。可耻的说，在这里将近70巴仙，身为一个100巴仙华裔血统的人不愿意用自己的母语书写，甚至沟通。不利用还没关系，有些甚至觉得没有这个必要去学习中文。他们还认为只要能说一口‘流利’的英语就足够了，更为自己能说一口‘singlish’而引以为傲。对不起，我不是想要说的那么绝，而是我刚刚扭开本地中文电视台的一项节目，记者所用的语言是中文，可惜，被访者却用他们一口流利的singlish与他们对答如流。
好几次，我都很好奇地问我新加坡的朋友: 为什么你们的中文底子不怎么好？‘无所谓啊，不重要，只要我能说英文就够了。’（完全没有羞耻的意识）
让我考考你的中文好吗？‘不要啦，你考我英文好吗？我一定能够解决。’（如上）
最让我觉得很矛盾的是，无论在工作，或在朋友之间，当两位初次见面的华人碰面时，他们所说的第一句话语都是用别人的母语，而不是利用自己的。我知道，工作偶尔不能避免利用国际语言对谈，但是，朋友。。或家人之间的沟通，难道就不能用回属于自己的东西吗？
我不禁想到身在大马的华人，大家为了要争取自己生活在一个回教国能够立足的机会，而努力的保护华教，华小，好不让别人剥夺属于自己的母语。
而在这里的华人，却双手供奉了自己的母语，投向所谓的‘国际语言’，没有自己的特征，没有属于自己的身份。

食得是富

近日我觉得自己好凄惨，食0野食的好吾自在。掂解？？因为，右边口腔发炎，搞到我只可以利用左边咬食物，口都不敢张得太大。结果好多‘人间美食’都一一错过，一一牺牲（有些许夸张~其实并不是我所讲的甘严重）。但是，口腔有问题同埋牙痛其实是最辛苦的一件事，它的痛楚可以影响一个人成日的操作兼影响心情！我宁愿病，都不想牙痛！
昨日朋友介绍我买一个名为difflam的漱口水，贵到暴！200ml 要 $17.45！既是话漱一次起码要一蚊！今日的下午饭居然沦落到要食我最吾喜欢的东西--- 粥！！通常这样食物是我在无的谏之下才会食的。。:(
之后见无好转，唯有下午去睇医生（都吾知应该睇牙医抑或医生）。听左我的症状后，牙医叫我过隔离睇医生（甘鬼近，这个就是新加坡的好处）。睇医生吾超过10分钟，居然就无左$50! 唉，这个‘病’真是令我破财，吾知会吾会替我挡灾？
其实，这次的教训，并不是破财，或者其他。。最主要的，是领悟到一个道理：‘食得是富’！有d女仔，为左贪靓，牺牲兼放弃左好多人间美食，呢样吾食，个样吾掂的。浪费晒d食物。我曾经都有想过要减肥，所以就尽量控制自己的食欲，控制去食自己最爱的甜品，糕点。。或者一时当系精神粮食的--零食！
好希望会快d痊愈！
奉劝大家，趁有得食ge时候，就。。。食啦~！

我好挂住lays 薯片，subway曲奇，mcD 薯条，pscafe蛋糕，饼干，硬硬的法式面包，意粉，roti canai。。etc etc。。。

Guess year 2009 is a travel year for me, this Dec i'm going to my no.4 destination- Bangkok, Thailand! This trip have been organized since 8 mths ago, during airasia promotion, which cost rm244 (incl taxes, luggage). I'm going with 2 ladies, who is my sec schmates- khiaw & oren. but unfortunately, khiaw might not join us due to her new job commitment. :( well, i have to explore Bkk with oren now.

Friends who been to bkk keep telling me that bkk is a very creative place, i believe it but i did not really keep into heart. this evening after work, i went to coffee bean to prepare itinerary by using this 2 sources - 大曼谷旅游通, and 泰有创意.. and the outcome is.... thailand is really a great platform for creative ppl! :D So many creative center, so many concept store, concept restaurant cafe... etc..

During this trip, i MUST go to.........

Model Making

last few days, for one of the project, i pick up my favourite activity: model making,

after a long long long time since i graduated from college...

still remember when i were in college, cooursemates & lecturers were so amazed by my model making skill =.= no other reasons, i think is just because i'm good in crafting la, and i like paper stuffs. haha.

when i went for job interview, they asked "any other skills that you would like to share with us?", i ans: "model making".

"erm.... but nowaday, in interior design, seldom ppl do model, usually we use computer to generate 3D view, faster and easier... "

再老土的抄抄柴九的金句“人生有几多个十年？”而我，又有几多个25岁？

而且，依你的想法，绝对能够套用“天下无不散之筵席”这句说话。

mini Diana F+ (失败)

在香港lomo embassy经过三思，徘徊了许久。。到底应该买经典的Diana F+ 或是新推出的mini Diana F+ ? 最后，体积较小，以及可以用普通36mm 胶卷的mini Diana F+ 胜出！
带着蠢蠢欲试的心情，在香港及kl两地拍完了第一卷的‘处女作’。冲洗出来的效果有点失望。。尤其是颜色那方面。还有，我要的重叠效果居然不能实现？因为冲洗店不愿意帮我冲洗！担心会弄坏他们的机器喔！:(

大家看，第1，2，3张就有那种重叠效果的~~

无所谓，我会再度尝试！

稀有品种

在kl的一位设计朋友委托我替他找一种名为‘new raglin paper’的纸，用来打印他们的名片。对于一位设计师来说，找适当的纸张，或是适当的材料来达成自己设计出来的效果，是每一个设计师都会经历的东西。

再加上我对纸张的分类也蛮有兴趣，中学时期，放学后每次都会去逛在芙蓉市区一件叫‘Heng Paper’ 那五花八门的纸店。‘年轻时的我’也曾想过要开一张专卖纸张的店，或是在纸店内打工呢！哈~

在替他寻找之前，我用google搜寻了关于这种纸的资料，结果并不理想。但是知道它是一种拿来制作贺卡之类的纸。除此之外，也从一个看来干得不错的新加坡设计公司（silnt）获寻了他们曾经用这种纸印出一系列的日历。效果很好，尤其是emboss的那一部分。

昨晚，就光临了最有希望的bras basah complex （在新加坡所谓的‘书城’）。开始是到卖手工，卖art material的店下手，却没有人听过这种纸。过后，就到印刷店询问，也是一样的答案。
在放弃之前。。居然。。。在四楼一间陈旧的店面，找到了它他她！这位店主- uncle patrick本身是制作结婚请帖的。而这件店在这里已经有20多年的历史。当他听说我要找这一类型卡片时，他立刻很热情的告诉了我很多他的历史，也告诉了我关于new raglin paper的好处。原来它的长处是纸质够厚身，非常适合做emboss，出来的效果也会很好。
话说，还没开业前，年轻时的他是在某某设计公司内当平面设计师。他说，通常new raglin paper 是拿来印刷请帖的不二之选。而现在由于科技的发达，很多东西都代替了传统的请帖。就算有，也许只是少数的一，两百张而已。所以现在对这类纸的需求并不多。再加上它是要从germany空运过来，就造成它被归类在‘稀有品种’的类别里。

虽然，需要这纸张的设计师不是我，但是，我能感受到那种本想放弃，却找到后的满。足。感！:) 再加上遇到这种好谈，也不吝啬分享的长辈设计师是不容易的哦。

这就是稀有品种的效果。。

F1 Singapore Night Race

Got a free pass from my coursemate for me to enter the 2nd year of F1 Singapore Night Race at town. Very amazing, as i can't imagine in this little country, how do they create such racing track? but they managed to! haha. of course, with some road closure and traffic jam, and create some trouble for us who work at CBD area.

6pm on 25th september, the first day of F1 walkabout (for racer to do training and take sequence), i started to hear the engine sound from my office building. I reached there at about 6.45pm by walking (very near huh).. and started to feel the "carnival-like" atmosphere, with alot of tents selling food/ beer/ F1 team merchandise etc....

this is my first time to watch F1 and i can feel the speeeeeed! very very fast!! :)

un-able to shoot a good photo using my compact digi camera, so, i better shoot some video instead. at least, can capture some :P

败犬女王

一直以来，我对台湾剧[尤其是偶像剧]，完全没有兴趣。而我所看过的台湾剧可以用少过五根手指来计算。直到最近，好友miki极力推荐我这套‘败犬女王’，极力告诉我这套不是那种老掉牙，长篇大论，拖泥带水的爱情剧，看了绝不后悔。那好吧，我就放手一试！果然，是不错。。！

这部戏是停留在这位没有恋爱的工作狂，33岁却还没嫁出去的单身败犬：

我，33歲，一個生活塞滿工作的女性上班族。也許經過多年的努力，工作有一點成就，可是我單身，孤單一個人。不止對象越來越難尋獲，可惡的是隨著年齡的增加，身價更是越來越下跌！！在一個人的夜裡，我不禁常想：「Shit！我該不會就這樣孤單終老吧！？我要變成一隻人生的敗犬了？」在台灣，年過三十三，對象難尋的單身貴族遍佈成河！！有著成千上萬這樣的「單身敗犬女」。大家也都知道，「共鳴」是戲劇打動人心的關鍵。可是，誰來引起「她們」的共鳴呢？！這部戲，就是「她們」的故事，她們的共鳴。

共鸣？看来我对这部剧的共鸣，就是我还单身。。看见一些无双的所作所为时，还真的觉得似曾相似呢！还有，我对六年前因误会而抛弃无双，六年后却又回来，与她重遇，再度向她求婚的学长深感惋惜。学长- 國際知名攝影師，工作是到世界各地拍攝難度超高的紀錄片。簡單的說，他是紳士般的魅力熟男，溫文儒雅，細膩貼心從不傷人。除了条件好之外，又贴心，浪漫，为了另一半不惜一切，深爱另一半。。这样的男人，如果能让我遇上，我一定会紧抓不放，不会让他离开。但是，剧情确实是这样。无双选择了小她8年的卡斯，选择卡斯没有错，因为有‘feel’胜过一切再美好不过的条件。

my 32m2 apartment

my 32m2 apartment- is a book wrote by Gary Chang- an architect from Hong Kong. i get to know this book from yahoo news, and it interested me after reading the review. when i were in HK, i spend an hour at Kubrick bookstore to finish this book, wanted to buy it but i feel this is abit expensive, which cost sgd 43. i back to singapore with a little of regretful.... so, this time when Frank went to Hong Kong, i urged him to get this book for me, and here it goes.... :)

A brief intro about this brilliant architect on how he transformed his little apartment to a multi-tasks, multi-function house:

Architect Gary Chang has lived in the same 32 square metre apartment for over 30 years - since he was 14 years old. ‘My whole family – my parents, my three younger sisters, and me – used to live here. To make ends meet, my parents also rented out one of the rooms to an outsider, a woman in her late twenties. Then the room was rented to her younger brother. I vaguely recall our ‘room tenant’ stayed in our flat for around two years. Thereafter, the flat became home…for the six of us.’ Living in a tiny rented space with a large family was not uncommon in 1960s and 70s Hong Kong. Chang has not only developed a unique sensitivity towards small interior spaces and an interest in architectural design, but also finds endless fun, entertainment, and joie de vivre in his living environment. He now lives in and enjoys this 32m2 apartment by himself. The apartment has been gone through five different interior settings – in 1976, 1988, 1990, 1998 and 2007. More than a simple interior design story, this book illustrates the transformation of a living space and how people respond to different spatial settings.

Frank bought me this little 万花筒 as souvenir, design by an illustrator named Carrie Chau.

Everything look so beautiful and fanciful when you use that to view the world....

RIN chair

昨晚出席了由space furniture所主办的一个workshop，是专程为来自日本的hiromichi konno san所主办的。这位年轻设计师，因为设计了这个名为‘RIN’的椅子而一炮而红。行内人相信不会对这个作品感到陌生吧。看来简单，却那么的有心思的作品。

其实之前并没有留意他，甚至在悉尼design show里与RIN擦身而过也没什么反应。。直到Frank替我订位出席这个workshop后，才被他深深吸引。见到这真正的作品，及他本人，自己也爱上了它。设计师是个非常低调，谦虚及寡言的一贯日本人。最后，我还与Frank像个小影迷般向他索取了签名与和照。

身为一名设计师，其实只需要仅仅的一份代表作，就能让世人对你念念不忘，或似你为偶像般崇拜。而我？继续默默耕耘，等待适当的灵感。。让我为世人有些许贡献吧！

一click即中

何谓‘一click即中’？顾名思义，那是代表我们之间奥妙的友谊。一班完全没有共同背景及来自不同地方的人，居然可以一click即中，变成志同道合的朋友。

上个周末我就是同他们过0左过疯狂兼开心的假期。虽然短暂，但是美丽。

winnie下星期要去uk深造，为了欢送她，我选择了系kl与他们共度周末。非常之充实，也疲累，但是疲累的开心。哈哈。

anyway，衷心的祝福winnie可以enjoy uk的新生活及新挑战！miss youuuu!

I got this FREE F1 pass from my x-coursemate. In fact I'm not the top fans of F1 race, but since this is free, i should just go there and broaden my mind, listen to those engine sound, maybe look at those pretty & sexy race girls, etc etc....! (sound so proud, i know alot of ppl out there are craving for this~!! bleah~) Anyway, don't be over jealous, this is just a 'warm-up/practice' race on Friday (25 sep 2009) night, the actual one is on Saturday!

香港之旅

2009年8月20日,我踏上24.8年来第一次的单身旅程.而目的地是久违的香港.两年前的5月份,我与3位友人一起去了这东方之珠后,我已经爱上了他的风土人情,以及香港人爽朗且够直接的沟通方式...当然,还有那些看得眼花缭乱的店铺,食物等...仿佛一不留神,就会错失了某些东西似的..由于种种的原因,再加上我选择一个人,所以,在无语言障碍及不太远的状况下,香港之旅成为了我的不二之选!

第一天,我搭了一大清早的飞机前往香港.第一次凌晨4点起床,还能够那么有劲,也许是过于兴奋吧!乘了3小时半的飞机,再加上过关口及巴士车程,我在约中午12点才到达我住的宿舍-dragon hostel.很有熟悉感,因为两年前我也是住在同一个地方.就连楼下卖臭豆腐的阿婶依然风雨不改.这个地方绝对是旅游的好住处,靠近旺角地铁,靠近女人街,不夜城,更靠近大型购物商场-郎豪访.所以,我以后一定会再度下住这个地方.啊!还有,他的主人也长得不错! :P
我把东西都放好后,到附近的广场逛逛,及到附近的理发店修修我的头发.虽然那位理发师看起来有点"潮",但是我的发型也没什么新突破啊!晚上我有个饭局,是与我以前的一个香港客户的约会.见面地点在九龙地铁的一个新广场- 圆方（elements）,超大的广场...还有附近环绕的5座最新,及最贵的私人住宅.其中有一栋就叫"君临天下".听他的名字,都知道它的身价不少吧!

第二天,我前往澳门.幸好,澳门有个小学同学在venetian hotel打工,又凑巧是他的休息日.所以,我就有个免费导游,还能顺便来个叙旧会.澳门的酒店可以说是琳琅满目.各式各样的设计,而且空间超大,新加坡这个小国度是看不见的!

接下来的三天,我都是一个人活动（本来就知道啊）!

第三天的计划是前往中环吃早餐,然后再到上环找我的lomo embassy...是要攀山越岭的才能找到!里面的那位小姐虽然打扮新潮,但是我觉得她一点都不友善! >< 过后,我有机会搭丁丁车前往铜锣湾.到达那边后,人潮汹涌!我都忘了这里是个购物天堂..而且,summer sales未免过于夸张了吧!东西统统都打折打得很厉害...若不是我按耐得住,我下个月的账单应该会爆吧.停止了疯狂购物活动后,我拖着疲累的身躯,拿着大包小包的回酒店卸装.晚上,步行到在油麻地的kubric书局.很棒的书局兼café 概念.应该拿它来做榜样,为我的将来铺路!

第四天- 搭了小巴去黄大仙拜神,顺便看看相...阿婶对我所讲的都是不错的话语,希望是真的啦!过后,搭地铁到中环-上山顶看看风景及拍照.就这样到下午,然后不小心,走到去IFC Mall,不想再走路的我,不小心在里面找到我在u magazine 看见的 café veragano.过后,再稍微去尖沙咀星光大道走走看看.这一天的我,好像特别耗尽体力似的,8点多我就打算打道回府了... 最后一天,飞机是晚上8点,check out后,把行李暂时寄住在酒店,就到附近走走看看.又不小心让我看到又是u magazine 所推荐的caffe pascucci..哈哈.. 其实这次的旅程有很多个"不小心",每次我要去一个地方,却又找不到时,当想要放弃,偏偏兜几个弯,它就出现在你的眼前....也许人生也是这样吧,生命里有些东西也许你现在看不到,或不能轻易得到;但是若能够不懈劳苦,也许兜多几个弯也无所谓.因为,最终你还是能够到达你的目的地.对吗? :)

接下来的9个月

我由香港自由行返回这个国家。
本应没有什么目标。
但是，却错了！
我有新的方向，新的冲刺！
如果要讲近期的，就拿9月份来说吧！
9月5日的那个周末，我会在KL度过。
9月25日的拜五，我有免费的F1晚间赛车热身赛看。
10月及11月？暂时没有活动。但是我会趁这时候收敛收敛。
12月？这个嘉年华会大月份！
12月6日是好友慧文的终身幸福大日子。
12月11日是我与两位美女结伴出发前往曼谷5天4夜之旅。
曼谷回来后的日子，相信节目会一罗罗排满满直到冬季-圣诞-本小姐25岁生日-倒数2010年的来临。
（相信今年在新加坡度过的圣诞，庆生及倒数活动都会过得比较不一样及深刻吧。）
过后，2月的来临就意味着农历新年的来临！当然，家人与朋友们的聚会及分享生活点滴是非常期待及重要的时刻。
而接着下来的3个月，会是我人生中蛮重要的专唳点。而现在的我，正为着这一天的来临努力的倒数，及积极，快乐的生活下去！

GO, HONG KONG!

香港单身旅途倒数5日！
极度兴奋。其实我是第2次去香港，但是都依然这么兴奋，因为这次我会一个人去！哈哈。感觉好刺激，也好期待，但是也有些许恐惧感。不过，未试过有点会知？反正我觉得在我的人生中，一定要有一次这样的经验，才叫完整！:)

这几日我都忙于工作，通常放假前所发生的东西好似都一样，也好似是一种‘热潮’。。就是- 若吾放假，就无会忙；若我要放假？d东西就会一罗罗甘出现！真是连放假都无得安宁！
不过，少安毋躁。。我一定会在来临的3日时间里‘一铺清台’的！:D

忙归忙，我也非常勤力的作好准备功夫，多谢香港U Magazine 同 open rice 的介绍，让我方便的寻找美食（我去香港的其中一个原因）。。除此之外，我也会去狂扫街，希望可以换个新形象？at least, a PRO-designer look! ^^

歌颂

是时候要歌颂歌颂我的屋企人。
唔好睇我好似好‘高调’，其实由细到大，我们成家人都比较低调，不会多说话，可能这个就是我们的习惯。阿爸阿妈是传统的父母，我唔知以前他们点教导我5个哥哥姐姐，但是，到我懂事以后，我都觉得他们经常性让我‘自由发挥’。可能是因为他们教好了5个哥哥姐姐，已经精力耗尽，所以都唔会太理我。反而我的二姐同三姐就扮演了他们的角色，经常‘烦’住晒。尤其是我三姐，心情唔好时，我就遭殃啦！
我8岁就搬离了我成长的‘乡下’。那边好多我成长的回忆，虽然现在已经有些许模糊，但我记得我有所谓的‘青梅竹马’，玩沙，玩蜡烛，玩灯笼，在河边玩水，在山玻踩单车再碌落山的经验。。其实我相信以前或现在的小朋友都唔是个个有甘的机会有这种美妙的童年回忆。
搬到新屋之后，无邻居陪我玩，但是我都大个啦，要返学，做个勤力的小孩子。每一日都系阿爸用他的老爷单车送我返学，直至中学毕业都一样。每个早晨，阿爸都会冲杯劲有爱心的美禄俾我，再加上饼干（苏打饼），上边在涂一层美禄，好正！
到我中学毕业啦，不知何去何从。亦都唔知掂解自己会钟意上设计与美术。所以，就决定往这个方向发展。亦都在没有家人反对之下，来左新加坡攻读设计，兼毕业，兼做埋工。
甘多年啦，屋企人始终无改变，也是这么的低调。哈哈。但是，自从离开屋企后，反而我同他们的感情更好，那怕只是那少少的沉默。
最近，我有新的想法（不方便在这里透露），他们也没有阻止我的意思。阿妈只是讲几句，阿爸都唔知有没有听到我所讲的东西，完全没有反应。但是，我知到最后他们都唔会阻止我去做我想做的东西。
好兴幸我拥有这样的家庭。

Sydney trip

let's briefly talk about my sydney trip....

i depart from singapore changi airport on 28th july 2009, 7.50pm by Qantas air. the plane delayed for almost an hour, due to some un-forseen circumstances. sydney is 2 hours in advanced compared with singapore.. so, it took about 7 hrs flight, and finally i reached sydney airport on 6.30am. after been thru all the custom checking etc. i took train (city rail) to Chatswood station, where Frank's friend is staying.

the first day was quite tiring as i couldn't sleep well in plane, and i only able to back to hotel for a good sleep ard 10pm at night :(

we went to fish market and also karen's parent house at Kurara for dinner. very nice old couple and they keep serving us nice dishes. :) their house is VERY big, and i like their structures and also those raw materials.

2nd day: we went to sydney opera house, the rock, and darling harbour.

3rd day: the first day of Saturday In Design, organized by a magazine called INDESIGN, which features mostly archi/ interior/ furniture design. i was overwhelmed when i saw all those design appeared just right in front of me. as usully we only able to see those from magazines/ web.

at night, we met Billy (Frank's friend) for dinner. very nice dinner at a Japanese Yakiniku restaurant. i guess that meal is the nicest and contented meal i ever had in Sydney. Besides that, we went to a chill-out place at town area, which is Establishment and xxx (i forgot the name :( ) both are very nice place.

4th day: the 2nd day of Saturday In Design. keep overwhelming... ;D

5th day: last day at Sydney, went for the last shopping (for souvenirs & foods) at the mall nearby.

well, the overall trip is good, and i miss the coffee there, and the weather (is winter now!) there. i would like to go there again if there is chance, and i miss SaturdayInDesign too! :D

原来世界这么大

刚刚落机，又返番这个沉闷的都市。
原来世界这么大。。
5日4夜的雪梨旅程的确令我获益良多。虽然没有游山玩水，但单靠2日的design festival已经足以让我觉得原来可以发展的空间是这么这么的阔大。

sydney是我第一次踏入的外国人国家，很多令我赞叹的大自然，建筑物，好正的人，好正的咖啡，好大分的食物，好有发展空间的设计环境。。我相信若我再度踏入其他欧洲国家，可能我会更加的叹为观止！

这次的旅程，让我渐渐对这个渺小的城市觉得厌倦，觉得无聊，觉得没有人气。。看来，真的是时候出去体验这个那么大的世界。。

Pre-Departure

Is July 24! time flies, and im ready to go for my trip... oh ya, forgot to update you all that my sydney trip is remain back to track. my boss (frank) told me last week, that we will still go for this trip, since H1N1 is considered as 'worldwide disease' now. we are not going to pay for admin fees to cancel 4 flight tickets and also not going to lose this chance to attend the design exhibition. so, the final decision has made.
they (frank, his wife n little daughter) will depart tmr am, and i will only depart by myself on tues evening.
last night, i bought myself a new luggage, as my prev luggage is old and is canvas made, not so good for travelling esp when it is raining! this new luggage is very fanciful (don't you think so?), and it is PINK! in fact, i will try to avoid pink color, no matter for apparel, personal belongings, etc... but this is the nicest color i found. the other 2 available colors are yellow (mustard yellow), and black.

here is goes.. my brand new pink luggage.

i started to gather some necessary items for trip, all samples are very good to use for travelling! p/s: i bought mask for myself.. just in case...
